I am just wondering what everyone's opinion of the 5 Vegas Relic is. I have seen them a couple times, and have been tempted to pick one up, BUT of the three that I've had from the 5 Vegas line, (5 Vegas classic, Gold, and Miami,) I only liked the Miami.

They look good and all but I know that looks can be deceiving.

in my opinion you picked the worst of that brand to try. the series A is, IMHO, the best of the "regular" line.

the limitados usually end up being good. the cask was decent. I have only had one relic. i liked it. see if you can get a 5 pack to see if you like them first. id be ok buying a 5 pack, but not a box.

Full-bodied and spicy, but not very balanced. I thought it was a decent smoke. Nothing to write home about.

Actualy I can say.....I'd rather smoke a Man of War Ruination if I was looking for something simular in taste but consistant till the end. I was not a huge fan of the relic but it wasn't to say terribly bad. I just thought they were trying to compete in that full flavor catagory. I think the Vegas Cask Strength was a better cigar in the Vegas line but my taste doesn't mean your taste. Try a Vegas Relic and a MOW Ruination and then give us your opinion.

I think the relic is one of those cigars that got a lot better with age. I think it is completely different from what it was when it first came out. Different in a good way. I still don't think it is great, but its good and much better than it was.

give it a try... YOU will either like it, or not. i'v seen alot of bad reviews for cigars i like, and great reviews for cigars i didn't like, at the same time i have shared the same good or bad experiance with others aswell...

the bottom line is we all feel differently about the same things so just try it and tell us what you think!

I Started off tasting like burnt toast and after reading so many great things about this cigar I thought I was about to be disappointed. But once the burn round the bell it mellowed out wonderfully and lasted about 45 minutes. Perfect time as I was tired.

I've yet to try the Relic or the Cask Strength... gonna have to pull the trigger on a 5-pack of each to see what they're about. I wish my local shops carried 5 Vegas.

The "A" series (Archetype - toro) is a masterpiece, and the Miami was love-at-first-draw. I turn to the Gold when I'm looking for something mild. The "Classic" is ho-hum. It's not bad, but nothing to get excited about.
