Tried one of these the other day. I honestly wasn't a fan, I put it out about halfway through it. Everyone else I have talked to loved this stick. I have one more, going to give it a try some other day.

I personally prefer the Red 601, I believe it's a heartier smoke compared to the Green 601. The Blue 601 Maduro is an excellant maduro cigar in my opinion.

I agree...The red is much better...More complexity.

If memory serves, the green has a maduro wrapper, correct?
Clint, the 601 Box-Pressed Blue is the Maduro, the 601 Green has a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper on it.

the Green is the OSCURO wrapper, not maduro.

I love the Green, but I love all the EO Sticks (601, Cubao, Mi Barrio, etc.).

I'm enjoying the strength for sure. Good construction and burn too. Getting slight licorice after taste

I got the green 601 in a sampler, and loved it. Bought a 601 sampler to get another along, with a few of the other colors.

Sorry...the whole timing thing here is akward sometimes! Thanks for the clarification.

I have not tried the blue, but love the red.

Which is your fav, Larry?
I really like the 601 Red (it's the Pepin thing I guess).

The Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 50 Years (with a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper) and the 601 Blue Box-Pressed Maduro are probably my go-to Maduro cigar's right now along with the Cain Maduro in 3rd.

nice larry! the 50 years is number two on my "to try" list!
Paul, to be honest, I'm not a Torano Fan at all....Chris (ctaylor) bombed me with one and it just blew me away it was so good. I have turned quite a few guys at my local B&M on to them.
