I thought you guys might like to see a few of the reasons that I haven't been on much in the past few months.

Like I said, I've been busy just trying to keep the bills paid, but here are a couple of the projects that I've been working on to that end. These are a technique that I haven't done since High School art class. I always enjoyed it and it's similar to the scrimshaw technique that I specialize in. I have also been trying to combine my passions....
With the cigar themed art, I have tried to keep the imagery consistent with the image of the cigar company. These are my favorite companies so I want to be respectful of their logos.

Amazing artwork brother! I saw the Tatuaje picture on ebay a little bit ago and was considering picking it up for the collection, I had no clue it was a brother here who made it. Keep up the great work!

I put it up on Ebay for a while so people could see it. I had the original and the prints on there for a while. I took them off after I got my web site up and running.

For the record. Pete Johnson, Steve Saka, and Glen Case have seen these and have been supportive. Steve Saka had even considered selling the Liga Privada print through DE's online store but didn't due to concerns about the nudity in the image.

Brilliant work, bro. I've always thought that Tatuaje should take more advantage of the inherent pirate theme that's associated with tattoos. I think this print is great!

And I think Scrimshaw art is fascinating. The depth and detail is so lifelike. I'd love to get something on mammoth ivory someday.
