On the way to emirates post to pick up my new humidor, I was telling My wife that the most genuine people I've met are Arabs and I've had the most pleasant moments with them. And just the another incident proved me right.

The guy at the customs inquired on the contents of the package
Hiten : "it's got a humidor, a box to store cigars."
Officer 1: "oh you smoke cigars?"
Hiten: "just started infact"
Immediately another officer who overheard this conversation called me, opened his drawer and handed me A Romeo y Julieta robusto and said
"It's a gift for you"

Ita just crazy how people have a misconception about Arabs.

Being born and raised in an Arab country I can vouch for how outstanding a people they are!

Just thought I'd share.

A Lot of it too is cigar smokers, i havent met a smoker that doesn't want to give you something to try we all are in the same group together.

I used to date an Iraqie girl. Amazing people. She was a gorgeous human being as we're all her friends and family. Very charitable and family oriented. Muslims get such a bad rap because of the fundamentalist. We have more than our share of crazies here as well.

It's easy to throw a race under the bus and discredit all Arabs. Terrorist attacks around the world caused by Muslim extremists on the news , fighting a drawn out war in afg. Add in a a religion that is very different than Christianity it's easy to come to the conclusion that they all have the same mindset. Sometimes I find it hard to be around people from the Middle East because of what has happened to my friends due to the war, but I get over it.

I'd travel to Dubai some day.
