I don't know if anyone else has had this idea or not, but.... In one of my humidors I use the black puck gutted out with beads in it. It is a pain to take it apart to add distilled water. The water just sits on top of the holes- due to the surface tension of the water I'm guessing. To remedy this problem I cut one of the corners off the edge of a ziplock bag. just enough so that water will trickle out. Poor the water in the bag filling up the oposite side that the cut is on and accurately poor distilled water in the holes. Hope this helps someone- I know it helps me.

I have done the same, but you need to pu the beads in a nylon bag. Reason being, as you pour water on the beads they will crack, and you'll end up with peices of beads falling on your smokes.
