I don't normally do this type of thing...but here goes.

Been through a lot in the past couple of years. Full of ups and downs. In November my son will be 2, last year we found out my wife had thyroid cancer. If you recall I wished for prayers and well wishes and you guys came through for us, this means a lot to me and my family.

Now, my wife is not very happy with her job, and the cancer scare or the thyroid medication has brought out her creativity, she's started a new business. She's painting acrylic on canvas for nurseries and childrens rooms. If you want to know the name, pm me. At the end of October she will put in her resignation at her job. She wants to take care of our son full time and be able to paint and do a few odd jobs like tutoring, and maybe 1 college class to teach(she does have a masters degree in English, and yes I married above my pay grade.) I'm really not looking for anything, just a little support as you guys always tend to give, and some well wishes...heres hoping for the best. Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

Sucks about the cancer dude. But glad she found a outlet cause of it. Not to much longer til the b-day.
appreciate it, but she seems to be clear with that, gets tested all the time, and the meds seem to do the job.

Yup, soon both our little ones will celebrate the same birthday.

Consider yourself supported, bro! We're here for ya. My son turns 3 in December ... I'm really hoping that the "terrible twos" will magically end at that point, lol ... /sigh

Sorry to hear about the rough times, brother. I will keep you, and your family, in my prayers

Glad to hear your wife is recovered from the cancer and that she want to spend more time with the children. We will pray that she finds her niche in God's plan for her and those she connects with. Also will be praying for you, that you will survive the changes.

Thanks for your post my thoughts are with you and my prayers as well, I believe this and all good forums are a community and thoughts and feeling are fine to post.

I have done my share of posting personal problems and got shit about it. You will never get anything but support from me brother.

Men and families have feelings and if these places were just about cigars I wouldn't be here or there. I got through a lot from real friends and the little words of encouragement and caring matters a great deal.

You have to only ask for my number as well.

Take Care and hang in there!

Ribby I feel for you bro and kinda know where you're coming from. Not that my wife had/has cancer or any thing but with the baby and work she is pretty much at her wits end couple that with the fact that we have a new house with no help whatsoever she's pondering whether if to quit her job and take care of the baby full time on nearly a daily basis.

I hope and pray things get easier for you and the wifey and she finds happiness in her new venture.
