A newbie...once again

Hello from beautiful, but crowded, Cape Cod.
Just started smoking cigars again, after a 5-year hiatus arising from health concerns.
New ball game... now retired from Federal Law Enforcement and, as compared to 10 years ago, financial constraints are suddenly important.
And so many more products out there, higher prices, and seemingly fewer cigar smokers. Unusual paradigm!
Will be most interested in suggestions for inexpensive (~ $ 2.50) everyday smokes and just about everything else connected to our hobby/
obsession/lifestyle.

Some cheapies I dig for that range are jdn dark corojos(sho around), 5 Vegas serie A, rocky patel seconds, and some oliva samplers you can get on cbid here and there. Good luck!

Taking notes on your suggestions. Have a box of Padron Londres resting now, but they are just a tad over my "go to" budget... for now.
My first experiences with A J Fernandez "overruns" (at about $ 2/per) was pretty satisfying. And SPDM Quixotes at $ 3 a stick aren't
out of reach, if I'm willing to limit myself to one/two a week.
With help from you Brothers, I bet I'll find a $ 2.00- 2.50 stick that isn't a compromise!

I have also purchased the Rocky Patel Vintage 90 knockoffs from JR Cigars a few years back for something around $30/bundle of 20 and have enjoyed them for a budget smoke but not sure if they are still the same now as they were back then.
