What bad timing! I injured myself yesterday; pulled tendons in right elbow area pretty bad. Problem 1 is that I am still in the middle of a two year old workers comp case for carpal tunnel and an ulnar nerve issue. My wife is worried they will find a way to fire me.
I was just about to start construction of a two story shed/green house for my wife and bought the material already.
Plus the holidays are here and I may not be able to leave for a family visit I was hoping to make to see my parents in Fl.
I don't like getting old. My mind is younger than my body; which can't keep up.
I sure would like a thought and a prayer right now. Thank you brothers and sisters.

Mike

wow, feel for you. my thoughts will be with you.

if it's any consolation, you don't have to worry about getting old, it happens to all of us, as part of the journey. it's when you STOP getting old, that you gotta look out for!

Prayers sent, if you fill out FMLA papers you can miss up to 12 weeks and your work can't hold it against you or fire you.
FMLA info can be found here

Thank you Jim. It is something to consider. I worry more about after the 12 week FML or this workers comp issue is resolved. A large enough company may even pay some penalty and/or find a different reason to let me go. I appreciate ALL the BOTL's thoughts and prayers.
