Well....as some of ya may or may not know....my daughter moved back home last Feb after living with her mom for almost 5 yrs...And in addition to that her brother (my step-son from when I was married to her mom) started coming back around as I was not allowed to see him after I divorced his mother...And to put it in his words "we are having a do-over" as he was told all kinds of nice things as to why I wasn't seeing him...Details of which I wont go into here lol..And he would still like to have a "dad" in his life...Which I am glad for as well...


Well....onto the "proud" portion of this post...My daughter is now a soldier in the US Army (reserves)...She is a 92Y which is dealing with armory/supply if I remember correctly...She will go to basic this summer....After her senior yr...she will go to AIT (school) then after that the army has a program that will put her in any school she wants...Currently she is looking at MArshall in huntington...She will be in the ROTC program while studying nursing...After she gets her BSN she will then be commissioned as an officer in the US Army...As a bonus she is going to have an oppurtunity to go to "Jump School" between her freshman and sophmore year and get jump qualified like her old man :)...I will be posting video of her taking the oath on you tube when I am able and provide the link for those that are interested...
