Sorry needed to get that out. Working the snow at work for the past 29 hours straight and my son calls to tell me he blew the transmission in his Suburban. He needs that truck to start a new job on Monday so I'm going to try and tow it home with my Kia Sephia. Wish me luck. I hate the winter.

I would say pay for a tow truck. You don't want to have to replace two transmissions. The Suburban probably weights close to twice the weight of the Kia..... Just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. The max towing weight for a Kia Optima which i think is about equivalent to the Sephia is 2000 LBS. The Suburbans weight any where from 5600-6300 LBS.

If you do end up trying it..... Good Luck! I send my best wishes!

Truck is home, Kia is as far as I could tell no worse for the wear. Insert fingers crossed smilie here. Now to see if the Suburban is worth repairing. :eyequiver
