Figured as I sit here in Denver airport I'd start a thread. I know of a couple places to smoke cigars on a layover that I thought I'd share.
1. Denver concourse C - Smokin Bear Lounge. Poor ventilation. 1 drink minimum. Out of all lounges I've found this one to be the best of the worst. No AC either. I'm sweating like a stuck pig, but at least I'm enjoying a cigar and a nice stout. IIRC there is a lounge on Concourse A or B as well but am not sure if cigar smoking is allowed there. It is more of a full service establishment.
2. Atlanta - Smoking lounges scattered all over. Poor ventilation. Traditional old school smoking section.
3. Minneapolis - Not a smoking lounge but on a long enough layover and with nice weather, security checkpoint 10 (IIRC) has very little traffic, and you can easily get through security to head outside to where the Delta employees are dropped off and picked up for a quick smoke in the elements.

Please add to this list for the benefit of others.

Addis Ababa.. The entire airport is "smoking"... But most smokers are huffing on cheap Chinese cigarettes.. And it stinks! :)

Nashville (BNA) has Graycliff cigar lounges on the B and C concourses. They charge $5.00 for entry if you bring your own or want to smoke cigarettes. Admission is free if you buy a cigar from them.

I think that smoking may still be allowed in one of the restaurants in the Memphis airport airport as well. Not sure though since I haven't been through there in a couple of years.

Frankfurt, Germany... several smoking lounges in the airport (at least one in every terminal IIRC).. reasonable seating.. usually not too crowded.. and ventilation is pretty good.. although, again mostly cigarette smokers (Im pretty sure this is the norm just about everywhere..)...

The Blue Note Cafe in the airport has a smoking section.. pretty decent little restaurant and bar for a seedy, second rate airport..

Overpriced but that's to be expected for anything that you buy in an airport LOL

I live here in ATL and use the airport a lot because of the amount of traveling I do and the areas to smoke are so bad....even across the country it's abysmal. While I haven't been to every airport it might be a great idea to have a "sticky" for places that accommodate a nice area to have a cigar. The added bonus of having a cigar before a flight is when you get onboard the flight and people are trying to crawl out of their skin because they smell that wonderful cigar aroma emanating from your natural self. Had one ole lady complain to the stewardess about it and since there was room in first class the stewardess let me go up there...talk about a win win!

Emirates has a really nice smoking area complete with food and libations at the Dubai airport for business and first class. Have had a few long layovers there.
