...and these past few days back where I grew up remind me why I moved away from the area. DAMN ALLERGIES!
Smoked a pair of Opus X with my Dad yesterday at the local brewery and while the cigar was great, I know I was missing out on all kinds of stuff because my head was congested like the 405 freeway during rush hour traffic. My pops had never had one before and spent the whole time being excited about everything that he was picking up in the profile, all the while I'm just nodding and smiling know those flavors are there, but just not really tasting anything.
One more thing to be thankful for this Thanksgivings...moving away from home! Sure its nice to go back and visit the family, but I love leaving because as soon as I get home, my head starts to clear up and I can breathe again!
