Aloha,
My name is Dom but my friends refer to me as "Da Hawaiian" thus my username. I come from the island of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands and have been smoking over 18 years but not as frequently as I have been for over the past 4 years. This is due to the lack of tobacconists on the island for years and would only pick up my supplies from friends or visits to Oahu. I'm not that computer literate and have just started purchasing online within the past year or so. I like a variety of smokes and usually have a mild to medium bodied cigars in the morning with medium to full bodied cigars in the evening. AF's and Oliva's are my usual go to cigars but like food, I appreciate a variety of flavors.
I found my way to BOTL through a member of a Facebook cigar group who is apparently pretty well known in the Hawaii cigar scene. I visited tobacconists on Oahu who have all mentioned knowing him. The reason why I was interested in joining BOTL was to be able to get peoples perspectives on the variety of cigars out there. It's hard for people on Kauai to buy singles to see what the cigars are like before committing to a box purchase. The one tobacconist on the island has a really limited supply that I have sampled all of what they have but over the years they have not introduced anything new.
Like I mentioned earlier, I'm not that computer literate so it may take me a while to find my way around this place... I wish you all long ashes and good smokes...
