Alpine Duet & Nelson IPAs

This one's more for the Cali BOTLs....as I assume the distribution of these beers might be limited. Haven't been able to track these down here locally yet like I have like pretty much every other Cali offering (including the more limited stuff like Pliny etc.).

How do these two hold up when compared to some of the other nice Cali IPA offerings (Stone/Russian River/Sierra Nevada/Lagunitas etc.)?...and are they worth the effort, and I suppose "unique" enough, to seek out?

My limited research says they are, but curious as to the thoughts of those here who've actually tried em.

Alpine has some outstanding beers, Duet & Nelson being two of them. I would definitely say these are worth trying. I'll see if my local stores have some. A very underrated brewery IMO.

bad boy & hoppy birthday on tap and esp. exponential hoppyness are also top tier rated ipa's.
highly tasty and very worthy gets.
