People use tupperware all the time, as long as it has a good seal it should be alright. Coolers help with temperature swings.

they look good. here is my only concern. we all know that igloos and coolers are made for food storage, so they are food safe and do not really smell. i dont know what kind of plastic these are made of. that would be my only concern. other than that, they look good.

Thanks Justin! I figured the cooler/igloo would be for temp control. Guess I will have to check these out in person. Supposed to be air/water tight.

And Ron, it says they're made of polypropylene.

Thanks whodeeni! I'm going to go out and look at them here in a bit. I'll let you know what they are like.

Thought I would give an update to these water tight boxes. I picked up a couple of the larger sized totes (from the second link I posted above). They can fit a total of 10 of the cedar trays from Cigar Solutions. I only bought six, but I have 5 stacked on one side, with room for another 5 (or boxes) next to them. They seem to hold the humidity pretty well. Just waiting on some beads I ordered which will allow for it to get the humidity back up whenever I open the box.
