My buddy recently decided that we would get into pipes so he bought me one. But i need to ask, am I doing it correctly?

I get some strange looks as I attempt to smoke it.

Seriously though, I just started getting back into pipes. I found that the aromatics turn me off, but man there are some sweet non aromatics out there that are flavorful and delicious! For me, I look forward to being able to head out and burn a bowl in 30-40 miutes and not have to endure the AZ heat in a few months for a couple of hours smoking a big cigar.
