Rumor has it. . .:glassesgr . . .that a very wealthy local fellow does that. He has his own private jet and the wealthy get to play by different rules. Basically, you call customs on the radio. They ask if you have anything to declare as you are flying overhead. . .They have no way to check. If they force you to land at a local airport you just taxi over to the closest, private, general aviation facility and drop off your smokes before inspection. Happens all the time. . .I hear tell he has several hundred boxes in his humidor. . .:wink:
