I am seriously considering sponsoring a host site for Angel Food Ministries at our church and am wondering if anyone here has any experience in it? I am not too entirely familiar with how the distribution works, how they acquire the supplies, etc. and would like to know more. I requested information from them but would like first-hand information as well if available. Even if you've just purchased from them or volunteered with them before I'd appreciate anything you have to say about them, good or bad. If you'd rather keep it private, you can PM me. Thanks!

this is one of the best services my wife and I found for us. You get quality food at a very affordable price! I recomend any one to check it out. They did a full thanksgiving dinner special for $30 that fed a family of 6 ppl.

I did it for a bit when I was going through the divorce as I was trying to save some funds and with feeding the 4 of us at the time it seemed like a good thing. I was not excited about the qaulity of the food. it seemed you get a lot of breaeded stuff, like chicken nuggets (bad ones) and just low quality stuff. I even woul dbuy the meat packages as well, but just not that good. I only did it for 2 months as much was not liked in the house.

I'm growing more and more excited about this. Turns out one of AFM's largest distributors is right here in South Mississippi! Hopefully I will visit during their December distribution on the 19th and gather more information to become a host site for this awesome ministry. I have already made a contact with AFM and initiated contact with the man in charge at the local distribution site. Wish me luck and offer your prayers if you are a praying man or woman!
