Welcome to Episode 3 of our Drew Estate Pairings series. In this episode, we paired the My Uzi Weighs A Ton Bait Fish cigar & Terrapin Wake 'N' Bake Imperial Stout.

Wake 'N' Bake description courtesy of Terrapin's website:

"Black as night, this coffee stout is thick, rich and full of real coffee flavor. Brewed with a special blend of beans from all over the world developed and roasted specifically for Terrapin by our friends at Jittery Joe's Coffee right here in Athens, Ga. This unique blend of coffee produces a robust and flavorful beer that will leave you asking why not beer for breakfast!"

My Uzi Weighs A Ton Bait Fish description from New Havana Cigars website:

"My Uzi Weighs A Ton is a collaboration between Drew Estate Tobacco Company's Subculture Studios and the Joya de Nicaragua factory. Made at the JDN factory, the much anticipated MUWAT blend was officially rolled out at the 2011 IPCPR. Jonathan mentioned the infamous "Bait Fish" size of MUWAT, a 4x44. After early feedback from the 60 ring gauge releases of MUWAT, many customers wanted something with some more strength to it. Jonathan felt that Bait Fish might be the perfect outlet for a tweaked blend. Wrapped in paper packs of 5 sticks and bundled in sets of 5 packs for a total of 25 in a bundle..."

Love these pairings. Just been getting into the dark oatmeal stouts lately. Ill have to try one now with a baitfish. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks man, been trying to gauge the interest in these videos as the view numbers have been less than some of our other videos. Glad you enjoyed it. Stouts and Bait Fish pair very well, give it a shot!

Well it being the third installment it might take a while to catch on. On here some people might only be on their mobiles and reading on tapatalk and not click the videos so it's great to have the recap at bottom.

W&B is one of my favorite beers of all time. We live very close to the brewery and they do tastings Wed-Sat and it is a party. With all the UGA co-eds that come out there the scenery is pretty darn good as well.

Beer pairings are fantastic! Unfortunately, I don't think Terrapin is distributed in MI, so I'll substitute with a Founders Breakfast Stout

Great video! Terrapin needs to release the Moo-Hoo again
100% agree. One of the challenges with Terrapin is that their best beers are their seasonals and they don't hang around that long. They also have started to retire many of their seasonals including two of my favorites Gama Ray and Rye Squared. Though at their last tasting they had a pumpkin ale infused with vanilla beans which was to die for!
