I love SciFi and fantasy. Currently I'm reading George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.

Just finished Terry Brooks' High Druid of Shannara: Straken

Now I'm reading an historical account of the Big Red One's exploits in WWII.

Yeh I read that. After about the second Shannara trilogy I think Brooks didn't have any passion in the books but rather wrote them for the money.

This trilogy was the most trite of all that he has written.

For me, it's Dale Brown - all of his books. I prefer the DREAMLAND series, but I've read them all and have to wait for the next one. Meanwhile I have to go through the same books again. Also really like Tom Clancy's style for the most part.

I am more of a non-fiction reader. I have two going right now. My new MRN book and a book on home brewing. I also enjoy reading finance books, management books and anything that can benefit me.

So have you gotten to experimenting with your homebrew yet?

Being married to a island girl (Phillippines) I already get enough fantasy in my daily life, so my reading time is usually about history.

Last book I finished was Magical Mystery Tours - My life with the Beatles by Tony Bramwell.

Currently reading The Great Influenza (of 1918) by John Barry

One of these days I am gonna buy the Cryptonomicon by Neil Stephenson and read that thing. I get easily distracted from books quite a bit. I keep starting "Software" by Rudy Rucker but get side tracked. (Yeah I am a cyberpunk fan!)

Just finished reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Great Western/Sci-Fi/Fantasy series. Now I am reading The Stand because of all the references from the Dark Tower.

I actually read Freeware first, then found out it was a series (that one being the last). So now I am going to read software then get wetwear and read that. Its kinda weird cause I know what happens to the characters in the future and events in this book are mentioned briefly in the later book.

Depending on what I feel like, I read anything from non-fiction to classics to sci fi and fantasy. Recently I've reread the first 7 books of Tom Clancy's Op Center Series, 2 Jack Higgins books, and I'm now reading book 12 in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. (BTW...recently is in the last 2 months)
