  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Any info on these?

A friend of mine just got back from Cuba with some cigars I know nothing about. If any one has any info that would be great. He is making me wait till wednesday to find out so I would like to suprise him ahead of time.





Any info would be greatly appreciated

Ok so I guess I will fill in whatever other info I do have to go with these. First I have to say that my guess is pretty good that they are legit some how. Not sure exactly what they are but the guy who brought them back is the owner of the cigar store that I work at so he know his Cuban cigars pretty well. The carving on the front I think is of the LCDH on 5th and 16th in Havana which was my favorite store in all of Havana, unfortunately the only pics I have of it are of the humi inside the store so I am not sure it is that store. Last thing is there were a bunch of cigars at the Partagas factory , in the store, last year that had an extra band on them that I was never able to find any info on. Now the only last thing I have to say I don't always believe my own eyes when it comes to Cuba so both this and that could be fakes sold in the real stores but I really hope not.

Ok I got the full story on these. First there really should be no info on these as they are not being released until the 23. I was kinda right about for a store but wrong about the one. These are rolled by my favorite roller Jorge at the Club Havana for the stores 10th anniversary. They are having a party on the 23rd when the 200 boxes will be relesed for sale. The owner of my store has had a great relationship with both Jorge and Enrique so managed to get an early box. These are not a habanos release but shoud be fantastic as Enrique Mons is well known for finding great tobacco. My box is on hold :)

Nice find Aaron! If you decide to give up smoking altogether Ill be happy to take the ones you bring home off your hands! ;-) Have a great trip man!
