We took my wife's nephews (3 and 5) to see it last weekend. Gotta say, it was as funny as the first Shrek. Anyone else see it?

Saw it a few weeks ago with my boys (5 & 7). They loved it. I'm sure we'll buy it as soon as it comes out on DVD and watch it another 1/2 a million times.

Wow, I'm surprised by these responses. I thought it was pretty rough for kids & only laughed myself once or twice. I mean, I'm not a sissy but when the first interaction between two characters is a viscous (sp?) looking bear saying "I'm going to kill you" to a raccoon who was caught trying to steal all the bears food, I'm a little turned off.
I loved Shrek (1 & 2) & thought Nemo was a great all around movie for kids & adults alike, this just seemed to be an attempt to get an animated movie out for the Memorial day rush without really caring what it was.
Big thumbs down for me. (I loved the cast though)

Saw it a couple of weeks ago. Pretty good. Saw 'Cars' this weekend - thought it was much funnier.

You're right about Shrek, Kevin. That's what made the movie so funny for adults. Most kids don't get the jokes and it made the movie a total "family" experience.

Looking forward to seeing Cars. Not having kids, I either have to "rent" one of the nephews or neices, or wait till these movies come onto DVD.
