I was just informed that I will be in Redondo Beach during the third week in November. Of course, my first thought was "Where am I going to smoke?"

Any nice or "must see" B&Ms in the area? Maybe a little casino action?

Don't know yet if they're springing for my rental vehicle, or if I will be limited to hitchin a ride with the locals.

Thanks!

If you get that car, I would recommend the Buena Vista Cigar Club in Beverly Hills about 30 to 40 minutes away.

If you decide to hit it up, let me know I will meet you there. They have a very small selection of cigars, a great bar, a nice atmosphere and if you know the right people, a secret closet:) They are only open in the evenings and closed on Sundays.

I am around 45 minutes north.

The Big Easy is about an hour away you. That is where Pete Johnson start working in the cigar business. There are many decent shops you would pass before you would get up to the Big Easy though.

Long Beach is much closer for you and I know they have a few spots.

forget those long ass drives and go to the del amo mall cohiba cigar lounge,
be cool, and pick up an anejo or other good smoke, and.. be cool, then ask to see their private stuff :halfgrinw

tobacco leaf in san pedro has a nice viaje 50/50 red spread

enjoy the hook up and kick a brutha down if the goods are good.

all basically down the street.

Oh cool. I will have to check it out sometime when I am down there - Just wondering if they have a full bar?

As for the spots I listed, they all have bars except for the Big Easy, but if you are cool about it, you can bring your own. I like to drink when I smoke. :ccool:

Redondo Beach to Long Beach - Mapquest Total Travel Estimate: 28 minutes / 17.67 miles

And that was with Mapquest taking the long way.

beverly hills is like an hour plus.
Redondo Beach to Beverly Hills - Mapquest Total Travel Estimate: 34 minutes / 20.97 miles

It might be 45 minutes to an hour between the hours of 7am to 9am or from 3pm to 6pm. I am in sales and I take care of all of Los Angeles, Ventura, Riverside and Orange County. I have three accounts in Torrance which is close to where you will be and I have made it from Torrance to B.H. in 15 to 20 mins dozens of times.

If you decide to check out the club in Beverly Hills let me know. It is pretty cool and definitely worth the drive.

Thanks for all the locations, guys!

I hope I can hit a couple of those in the evenings.

CC - If it looks like I'm going to venture out to Buena Vista, I'll shoot you a PM ahead of time in case you're available.
