Anyone know anything about this stick?

A great friend and up-and-coming SOTL (though not a member here yet) picked up a pair of these for me on a recent trip to Orlando. She said the guy at the B&M said it's made exclusively for their shop, as the owner and the manufacturer are friends. As she's pretty new to the whole scene, I thought I'd ask the Brothers here if anyone had any experience w/ the brand or the blend and could offer any insight. Pretty nice gift from her either way, though! Thx in advance.

Interesting... the company has a bare-bones website (complete with weird spelling, grammar, and formatting issues):

The address listed for the company is someone's home address. It's a small outfit for sure, and the website only mentions the one cigar. Did she say which shop she procured it at?

I'm pretty sure it's made from cured, rolled tobacco leaf, but I have been known to be wrong before, lol.

All I can say is smoke it, and then let us know what you think.

I was in Orlando, FL last week and a friend of mine took me to a shop in Winter Park, FL called Cigarz on the Avenue (Did not find a website). The owner gave us those sticks to try... wow, it was pretty damn good! It starts off as a solid medium and I swear that stick played with my palate. I smoke medium/full-bodied cigars and this one really did it.

I did a search and found their Facebook Page (facebook.com/zabalacigars) and their website (zabalacigars.wix.com/zabala-cigars).

Thanks man, that's exactly what I was looking for. I have two of these and haven't tried one yet; maybe I'll give one a go today.

This was actually an excellent smoke. Straight pepper through the first third, riding out into creamier cedar and toast toward the end, but still with a lot of peppery kick. I'm very pleased.

I am glad I was able to help and that you enjoyed it as much as I did. This is definitely an up and coming cigar with a lot of potential! I called Cigarz on the Avenue and spoke with Ricky (the guy who gave us the cigar) and ordered a bundle! Can't wait for it to arrive!
