Anyone know if their gun shop has a TP-9?

As much as I want a Steyr AUG (still delayed on release) I might pursue one of these puppies and do a SBR conversion on it. The problem is there are NONE in PA. I called the regional distributor and was given a number for a place with one. The problem is that it's gone already. I'll be checking at the gun show this weekend here in Harrisburg, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'd also like to add that if any of you know of one with a stock (making it a sbr) I'm very interested. I will also be contacting dsarms.com as well since they import them.

It would appear I have a steyr fetish of sorts but I swear it's only these two guns.

I went down this road a while back and this is what I ended up with from MechTech. Glock lower, I did a 19 I had laying around.

Easy back and forth conversion, very easy to find mags and much cheaper mags too. You could go SBR if you wanted to, or just not use a stock and cut down the barel and it's a long pistol rather than a short rifle, just don't add the forward grip.

Very accurate, very easy to shoot, probably heavier than what you are looking at, but it's head shot stable to about 40 yards which you will not get with a lighter weapon. Go with the tele stock, the AR dosn't give you a good cheek weld.

Kit is about $500 decked out so even with buying a glock lower or whole Glock pistol it's under what those things cost.

This is one of the most fun to shoot toys I have by the way.
