Anyone like CZ Pistols?

I was doing a little shopping around and came across some really nice prices on some CZ 82 pistols. I guess they have been used but they almost seem like too good of a deal to pass up on.

So I'm just curious if any of you guys have had any experience with CZ pistols? If so? What do you think of them?

Also what do you think of the 9 x 18 Makarov round?

I have a CZ .22 and I really like it. They seem to be well made guns, albeit a little overpriced....

My CZ 75 .22 shoots well and is as heavy as a standard .45 so it is well suited to practice trigger pull etc...

CZ has some good pistols and some ok pistols, but there is a big diffirence between their more modern pistols made for the US market like the CZ75 and the military surplus pistols made for the comunist block like the CZ82. I'd stay away from the later.

That chambering is hard to find and could get very expensive to shoot as the round is becoming obsolete even where it comes from. If in a better chambering like .380 I'd go for if the price is great, you can always resell.

I've had my CZ75 for around 8-9 years. It's a great feeling handgun and pretty robust. It's not a comfortable carry weapon because it's all steel but it's extremely reliable and accurate on the plates.
