Out of all the vitolas i think the master ( robusto ) is the better of the bunch. Although that's not saying much. I am not a big fan of these. They don't deliver in the flavor department.

If you are looking for a typical Montecristo with medium strength and toasted tobacco flavors, look elsewhere. These are fine cigars, well constructed and smooth smoking. These are delightful when you are starting your day or with a light adult beverage.

Dont read so much into the bad reviews. They arent bad cigars, just different.

I have really enjoyed the Regatta and the Junior, both worth sampling before you buy a box.
Enjoy your cigars.

Cheers

There are better Montes available. I won't search out another one, but would not turn one down either. The one I smoked last month was just kind of flat.

thanks all. i remember all of the mild flavor comments when they first came out. But maybe knowing that going in would make a different experience? I just may get a 5 count to try before biting off on a box. thanks guys!

Probably a good idea.

It wasn't a bad stick, I still nubbed the hell out of it, it was just very mild in body and flavor.
