We're pricing some desktops at work and Lenovo has a good deal for the price. I know they used to be IBM but I've never bought the brand. Anyone ahve any experience with them?
Anyone use a Lenovo Computer?

We have one of their netbooks, and it's solid. I'm not the biggest fan of it's trackpad design-but it has functioned well without issues. I had a bottle of water leak in my laptop bag, and the only issue is my SD Card reader no longer functions. It's traveled with me for about a year at this point, and has had a fairly rough life. 'Netty' is actually a 'tool' for a project we occasionally do, so it's often shoved in a tool bag next to drills, etc.

About half of our desktops at work are Lenovo. The only real problem we had with them were the network cards. These had Intel ProV Gig ethernet. We had a problem with the connection dropping on the desktops connected to some of the older switches (Cisco 3500 series). Not a problem with the newer switches though. The workaround was hard coding the nic and switchport. If I remember correctly it had something to do with a trunking feature on the nic. They may use different cards now though.
