i smoked a Camacho SLR Maduro the other night... it was the best cigar i've had in a while. it really had everything i love in a stick.

my question, brothers and sisters: i'm sure there are others who like this cigar... can anyone recommend some cigars that are similar in flavor and aroma?

much appreciated!

it was truly wonderful. started off with a nice spicy flavor, and mellowed out beautifully about an inch in. really delicious and smooth smoke.

i'm just looking for other similar cigars to try, or where to start looking.

what ring gauge do you recommend for the Mx2? i had a 52 or 54, and it was quite boring. maybe a smaller gauge? i'll be on the lookout for the other two you mentioned. thanks!

i just had a Camacho Select monarca this evening. it was quite good and very smooth... but i think i like the SLR a little better. other than that, i've had the 10th Anniversary and the 1962 Pre-Embargo (another favorite). so far, i've enjoyed every Camacho i've tried. but that SLR maduro... yum!!:clap:

I like the SLR as well, my favorite is the triple maduro though, you need time to just relax after that though it really mellows you out
