Since having my first AF Hemingway (signature natural) a few weeks back it is the one cigar I can't stop thinking about. I plan to buy a box soon but wanted to put a feeler out there to see what the brotherhood thinks are other sticks similar in profile to the Hemingway line. I had an 8-5-8 and it was good but forgettable. And I also plan to pick up the Hemingway in maduro as well, but I am finding although I do like a lot of maduro's, I lean toward natural wrappers.

Also, the perfecto shape is genius and a joy to smoke (especially the signature size, 42 RG I think). Any other reco's in that size to play around with even if different flavor profile.

So list out your pick for sticks most like the Hemingway.

So keep smoking 'em brother! :cigar: ;)

My recommendation: Nat Sherman Timeless perfecto. Awesome stick. Just be advised, they're notably pricier than standard sticks due to the skill required to roll 'em...(n)

Also...have you tried a Fuente Short Story? @redneck_toy and me are pretty much addicted to those little buggers!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I might head my own advice (and most of yours as well) and just smoke more hemmingways but will try out the other suggestions too.

I picked up a 5er of the AF Hemingway Work of Art Maduro and ripped through them in about a week back when it was warm out. Then I had a La Aurora Preferidos Maduro perfecto that a brother gifted me about a month later and it definitely reminded me of the former. Both great smokes.

The Fuente Hemingways are, good I don't know of a another brand or line they compare to, but you could flirt around with some of the different Fuente options trying Sungrowns, maduros, the different vitolas like Queen B King T or whatever they are, Rosado Magnum R line, and try some other Dominican produced cigars.
