A good friend just returned from Bermuda and sent me a little care package. Upon his return he had exclaimed that he had a new favorite cigar - the Cuaba LE. This was part of the care package he sent. As far as I can tell, this may at least be a legit Cuaba Solomone - I have a few to compare to. There were a couple of shaggy foot Graycliffs and another Cuaba (not an LE) that was such an obvious fake (Band was way off) with beetle damage that I just threw it out and immediately put the rest of the cigars in the freezer

He always stays at the Graycliff and will bring back cigars that are rolled for him while there. I was surprised he got taken since he travels quite a bit and will pick up CC's that I know are legit. Now I have to find a way to tell him. I don't want to seem ungrateful but it really pisses me off when friends get taken advantage of.

Not sure, but the cuban cigar website does not list this stick in that size. It only has the pyramid as a LE 2008 not the salamone.....

Sorry - I was not real clear. This is an obvious fake. I saw it was a fake before I even got it out of the bubble wrap. There are NO Solomone LE of any year or make. The closest to a special release in this size will be the LCDH Partigas.

That's pretty funny. Never buy cuban cigars in the islands... 1. If they're legit they're going to cost you your first born and 2. I would say 97.5% of them are fake otherwise.
