During the hot weekend the temp in the avallo went up to 83. The temperature cooled down but the reading is still 83. I am going to move the humi into the basement for the summer. Its cooler down there. any other suggestions would be appreciated.

My set point is set at 65 and the temperature has gone down to 72-73. The actual humidity is 72 and continues to blink. It has been blinking 72 for several days now. There is water in the tanks. The sticks are smoking well. Why would there been a continuous blinking of the box humidity(digital Hygrometer). It stays at 72.
Please advise

the accu will blink as a warning anytime the humidity reading is more than a few points below or above the setting.

you just need to check the accuracy of the accu with a calibrated hygromete
