But I guess if you really want to make sure you die, the ability to fire multiple shots could be important. It would be rough to live the rest of your life with a gunshot wound to the head because you missed important bits by inches. I imagine that was his plan? I don't know. Either way, really sad.

I dunno. He was 81, relatives threatening to put him in a home. Maybe he felt he'd lived his life. When it's my time, I hope I'll be able to go out on my own terms. Better multiple gunshot wounds then fading away wearing a stained bib at the domino table...

Not that I would ever consider suicide an option, but jeez. A big toe and a 12 gauge would have been a hell of a lot simpler. Maybe building a murderous danger-bot was on his to do list.
