Hey gents, so as some of you know I'll be tying the knot in March 2016 and was thinking of doing a low key bachelor party in mid-late February, possibly early March (not really into the whole stripper scene).

Ideally, I would like to have a nice steak dinner and grab a few drinks and have a great smoke, a true man's night. Since I'm in northern NJ, hitting up the city is pretty simple and I've seen some lounges like Cigar Inn that may be a good idea.

Anyone have any input/experiences you'd be willing to share? Any information is appreciated (whether on where to eat or what/where to smoke, etc.). Thanks all in advance!

Steak at Wolfgangs and if you want to smoke what you bring, Merchants is a good spot walking distance away. Cigar Inn gets really packed on weekends. Plus you can't bring your own. But you can bring your own booze.

P.S. If you go to Wolfgangs get the bacon for starters.

What's this invite only club Joe?
Grand Havana is a members only. Where Pete Johnson got his cigar start in Beverly Hills. I've been to the one in NYC with my former managing director several times until I went to another firm. Awesome place, where Titans of industry smoke. The who's who in NYC. Would love a membership there but I don't know anyone to ask for referrals.

Sounds like it's pretty pricey to join. Interesting tho!

I know a few members of Grand Havana. I was going to go last time I was in NYC as I figured I could just have the member I know put me on the guest list, but he informed me he actually has to be with me for me to get in. They filmed a scene of Swingers at the Beverly Hills location.

That's awesome. The best is the view from the urinal. Overlock Central Park. Definitely check it out if you can.

I don't know if Cigar Inn still enforces that rule under the new ownership. I know the GM very well, and I don't think he would enforce that rule.

Which rule? Bring your own? That would be amazing since I live two blocks from the 73rd location.

The fee isn't as bad as one would think for a club like GHR if you can actually get in lol. You need two sponsors and it's a two year wait list. Ckay is right on the view from the urinal also if anyone ever makes it and has dinner make sure to get the truffle fries.
