My 2 1/2 month hiatus is up. Teachers report tomorrow. I am sure there is some sympathy out there for me.

Been off since 8/11 and am dreading tommorrow. Typically on call 24/7.Just turned on my work phone and mailbox is full. Erase all- someone should have handled all of the issues- I'll find out tommorrow. Logged onto email, over 600 unread emails. Guess tommorrow is catch up day.

Teachers can't ever have enough breaks. Especially the mental health ones.

Good luck to you this year, Dave.

Ahhhh... don't let him fool ya, they work all year 'round.

*laughing hysterically*

Shoot, most of our teachers don't do squat in the summer except take exotic vacations. A handful actually teach in the summer for six weeks and some spend many many hours prepping for the coming year. Those are the ones I respect. The others, well, I don't. I work year 'round and I welcome summer when the teachers are gone. The ones I like are usually around on and off so we stay caught up but the rest... I'll stop there. They're the same ones who come in at the first bell and leave at the end of the day bell.

Dave, I know you're one of the good guys, it's the rest I have issues with. We start the day after Labor Day this year. I really enjoyed this summer, almost a full 12 weeks with no students or teachers to speak of. We didn't have to rush and had time to do extra projects.
