Phew!!!

Been a busy couple of weeks. But you'll have that when your self employed.

My dad and I started a company; an LLC to be exact.

Shaffer Flooring Services, LLC.
Hardwood Flooring Specialists

But on top of that, I've been doing a fare amount of catering as well. and other things too.

Smoked a few pork shoulders for a graduation party...130 lbs to be exact.

I need a bigger smoker...I could only do 4 at a time

But they still turned out beautifully

and it only took 6 hours to pull it all by hand

After that I refinished a fellas old nasty hardwood floors in his mancave and hallway

Sorry, i fogot the "after" pictures, but it turned out nice

Then i catered a fancy-pants 40th birthday party for 65 people. Sorry, no pics of that, there on my mom's camera and shes in Maine at the moment.

and then i refinished a crusty ol bench for a lady.

and then i repaired, sanded and refinished a church floor. after pics to be posted later today

Now it's time to relax a litte until July.

Headed to Pinehurst for some golf next weekend and then headed to The Burgh for about 6 days over the 4th.

Wouldn't you like to know?
Oh man Gale you can still get Molson Golden. I haven't seen that in Canada for 15 to20 years. But way to go supporting Canadian brewers. Looks like you have been very busy. Congrats on the new company.

yep, molson golden as been my go to beer for several years now...i've ALWAYS had some on hand. that is, until i re-discovered molson canadien. the golden was starting to get a litte sweet. the canadien is a little more crisp. now i switch between the two...but right now, i've only got 3 canadiens left in the fridge. but not to worry, i've got my buddy sam adams and a few mates from down under called Fosters keeping them company.

Congrats on the company & nice work all around - that pork looks delicious!

I had such a rough time refinishing my hardwood floors, I don't ever want to have to do that again! It was original red oak & it had such thick polyurethane on it that it was burning & smoking while trying to get it off - what a mess!!

Anyway - put your feet up & light a good one!
