Beer and cigar pairings

I've found that one of the best beers that pair nicely with cigars is Trois Pistoles by Unibroue. It has a nice dark malt flavor with a bit of a port wine finish and gentle sweetness. Seems to go well with everything.

What are some other beer that you pair with cigars?

This is a pretty good combo, I have done it several times w/ the most recent being a Padron 44

I like coffee stouts with cigars. Last great pairing was a Troegs Javahead Stout and a Tatuaje RC184.

I love Chimay. The Monks sure can make some great beer and cheese, if you can get past the smell.

I would also mostly recommend low carbonation. The highly carbonated beers tend to be a tad bitey with a cigar. If the beer is malty enough though that tends to not be an issue. I believe Chimay is on the higher end of carbonation but it is malty and sweet so it takes the acidic bite from the carbonation down a peg or two.

im a huge fan of spotted cow with anything, however a nice glass of mc chouffe and a more full body cigar, perhaps a la bejou can be satisfying

I prefer good wheat beer with just about anything from DPG, the spicier the better the combination in my opinion.
