Ok so last Christmas this girl, at work, brought in some Egg Nogg for us to try. Was the first alcoholic Egg Nog, that was really good. I mean all Alcoholic eggnog is good, due to the alcohol. This stuff was amazing. She said she had not made any in a year, so what we were drinking had been in her fridge for 12 months. WTF!?!?!?! Still good after 12 months? Her Mom used to make it 18 months in advance, she says it's better after a year, but still really good fresh. So here it is...please drink responsibly.
1 dozen eggs
4 1/2 cups sugar
1000 ml brandy
1000 ml whiskey
500 ml rum
12 cans evaporated milk
Separate whites from yolks. Put yolks in large bowl or pot (at least 3
gallon size). Blend egg yolks with sugar with electric mixer, 1 cup at a time until you get a thick paste. Add brandy - mix thoroughly - this
step actually cooks the yolks. Add whiskey & blend thoroughly. Add rum & blend thoroughly. Shake evaporated milk & blend into mix.
In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until they peak. Once done, blend
into mix with a whisk until mixture is smooth.
Makes a little over 2 gallons & keeps in the fridge for up to 2 years.
Serve cold or on the rocks. Most yummy!
