Met up with some friends in Rochester while here on business tonight and smoked some incredible vintage CC's.

1945 Don Arco Epicure
1960's Uppman Epicure
1980's Davidoff 5000 (one of my bucket list cigars can be crossed off...CC Davi!)

My mind mind is freaking blown right now! I can't believe I smoked a cigar older than my parents! I gotta go reminise but wanted to share my night. Thanks Chris and Dan (not from this board) for great cigars and great company!!!

Thanks man. 52" door? HA!!! I'm gonna have the whole front of the damn thing swing open like a garage door when / if I ever need one. Go big or go home! :)

So which was your favourite. I find the 5000 to be the best of the x000 series these days but still not as good as the Chateaux series. Even if they are not strong I still love the experience of old cigars.

The Uppman started the best and the Davi finished the best. The Don Arco was great all the way through. The one with the most flavor was the the Uppman as the first few puffs literaly tasted like toasted marshmallow. It's hard to describe but the Uppman was probably my favorite of the three.
