I was curious if anyone out in the world of BOTL has any old BlackBerry's or BB parts?
I was using my wife's old BlackBerry 9700 and LOVED IT! Then, screen cracked. I learned how to get it apart, and found which LCD model I need (there are 3 models on that same phone model). Now, I'm trying to track one down. I have no issue buying one online; it just makes me nervous when I find a lot ranging from $24 to $100. I just thought I would feel more comfortable buying from someone who I knew, that had a used screen in their old phone. I had the phone guy in IT check out his graveyard (as BB is the phone our company uses) and can't find the right model of LCD. The one I need is the "002/111" model, as opposed to the 001/ or 004/.
If you have anything at all, let me know. Like I said, I'm not trying to get off cheap, I just want peace of mind of how the part worked out. (One of the Amazon reviews of one of the screens said it was majorly blocky, pixelated.) So... thanks for reading my rant.
