Thought it might be interesting to hear some cigars that folks have tried, preferrably several times, but for whatever reason....the flavor/profile of that particular cigar, just doesn't sit well with you.

For me, it's the LFD Air Bender. Love several of Litto's offerings, and know many out there love this specific smoke.....so I know it's a good cigar, therefore, I blame my palate....

Get where I'm headed with this??

Anyone else have a cigar, or brand even, that comes to
mind?

Rocky Patel stuff in general. Not sure what it is exactly, but I like maybe 2 of his "blends". They are a huge seller and a big name brand, but I just never got into them.

Every time I smoke a Swisher Sweet I get this nauseous feeling. Some thing about those just doesn't do it for me.

Gurkhs was a joke, geez Kyle...

I didn't like:

Nosotros
Air Bender
Sungrown Hemingways
My Father Limitada
Partagas 160
DC Maximus 90th

I know all supposed to be good, but I didn't get it.

Licenciados, the #4 was my first cigar, shortly after the Churchill, great cigars back in 1996, I revisit them regularly and appreciate a mild cigar from time to time even now, no revisit has been a pleasure, construction is good, but the burn and flavor are very bad these days, have been for years.

I know...but thought worth clarifying what I was getting at. And by your list, I gather you get it. Kudos to you Roberto...LOL.

Haven't smoked any on your list but the AB and the Nosotros btw (actually thought the Nosotros was an "ok" stick..but certainly not heart broken they're not being made anymore)...

Have a couple MF Limitada's and one DC Max Stanfords 90th to sample when I have the time...(although the regular DCM line.....never impressed me either).

None of the Viaje regular line really does it for me (night and day on the limited release!)
Cuban Cohiba (IMHO) is the most overrated, overpriced cigar in history. Great cigar, great constructon, but does not wow me a bit...Add in the aforemenioned hype and this brand tops my list of "no thanks!"
Rockey Patel in general can be included.

Actually had this discussion with the owner of our local last night.

We both agreed that the stick we just "didn't get" was the Ashton ESG.

The VSG stands on it's own...but we agreed that we both felt "robbed" with the cost of the ESG vs the delivery.

Don Pepin Blue. It hurts that I cant stand it because there are so many other offerings of his that I love.

Monte #2

I've had each at least twice, and while they are definitely good cigars, they do almost nothing for me.

DPG Serie JJ. I've only had one, and it was shortly after I started smoking cigars, but I remember being thoroughly unimpressed. Maybe I'll give another one a try some day.

Wouldn't you like to know?
Everything made by Davidoff! I understand they are well made and know quite a few smokers (who opinions I generally trust) love them. Also Mi Barrio is another off the top of my head that doesn't work for me.

Can't disagree with the ESG....although I've only smoked 2 now.

I'd take a VSG over an ESG any day....even if they were similar in price.
