Looks like they are starting to send the DVDs directly back to the store. Kinda seems like this will slow things down. Right now I send them back to a distribution center one town over. I sent on Tues, they receive it Wed and usually ship on Wed so I have it Thurs or Fri.

Just seems like they will "sit" in the stores so it will take longer to get your movie. I hope not...

Yea Blockbuster is already slow enough for me anyway. If they return them to the local stores then I might switch!

Blockbuster is kinda poopy. They will give you different versions of movies which are censored/edited, and their selection isn't as good. If you like things like documentaries, art films, smaller run/indie films netflix is the way to go.

I've got a feeling Netflix will single handedly put Blockbuster out of business, within a short period of time (maybe in 2007).

Really? Those are the types of films I enjoy. I didn't know about the edited versions at all...
