My brother is wanting some bluetooth headphones for Christmas to wear when he plays golf or works out.

They need to sound decent, be sweat/moisture resistant, and offer a reasonable range (he wants to leave his iPod Touch in the cart), and not run out of battery if he decides to play another 9 or something (6-8 hours of runtime)

I don't think he wants cans, but rather the more sleek, earbud style. I don't think he'd want the individual buds, too easy to lose, so a behind the head style may be the ticket.

I like these Altec Lansing, but they don't seem to be moisture resistant:

So far, looking online has done nothing but leave me scratching my head.

Suggestions?

I'm figuring on a decent set costing about $100, is that reasonable?

Yeah that is reasonable. I have a motorola set that works perfect. I went thru and returned 4 other brands before keeping the motorola as their preformed the best. I easily had 6 to 8 hours of playback time, and were under 100 bucks. As far as moisture resistance I never had problems when sweating or using outdoors in humid areas but I would not wear them in a down pour or drop them in water. Hope this helps

Try Logitech FreePulse Wireless Headphones I just realized that there is a way to adjust these headphones so that they fit more comfortably. The wires over the ears can be rotated such that the wire in the back rides higher. This keeps the wire from touching your neck. It also lessens the pressure points behind the ears. Much better. I bump my rating to Very Good.
