this is why you cant sleep in college football, VT coming back hard. I hope boise can pull this out.
It was a close game. Boise State will go undefeated again this year. Yes they have a tougher game against Oregon State but it is on the smurf turf. Home field is big for them.
They will then get screwed out of the championship game. I know strength of schedules and all that. We will see though.

While the level of talent is better in the NFL. All of the stupid rules they have implemented and the egotistal players is the reason why now appreciate the college game more now.

I can breathe again. I agree boise will get screwed again by the bcs but I can dream. Lol glad they pulled it off.
that was a close one, now boise runs the table and they should play for a national title. I hate the BCS nothing more than the old boys clubs not wanting to share money with the little guys.
The VT loss to James Madison is going to hurt the Broncos. Lucky it was early in the season if that does any good.

I root for Boise St. on most occasions but it seems like they are always behind the 8-ball. Their strength of schedule will get them this season, IMO; especially, as jeeper mentioned, with the Va. Tech loss to JMU.
I think Boise St. thought they were going to take a big step up by joining the Mountain West next year, but by the time they do, BYU and Utah will be gone, so the level of competition within that conference will be weakened considerably. TCU is still very strong but losing two of the better schools the same year you come in is terrible timing, at least to me.

And that schedule will kill them come NC time unless they are the only unbeaten team in the country. Until they play some sort of tough schedule they will always be on the outside looking in IMHO.
It's going to be a nailbiting year for me.. lol.. And at almost $20K in tutition a year, I can root for Boise State.. lol. I'll be at the Homecoming game on October 9.
