I just smoked this cigar and I was blown away!!

The pre-light had some spice on my tongue

Then that spice stuck around with some earthy flavors in the first third...

As soon as I hit the half-way point I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted some sweetness, this sweetness developed all the way to the end of the cigar...

Has anybody else had this experience and is this a typical flavor profile for this cigar? This was my first one out of a 5er I bought and I was very impressed!

The 07 Boli Inmensas are some stellar cigars. I can't believe they are now disco'd. I'm sure these will be "classics" in 10 years from now.

I can't say if this is the typical Inmensas flavor or this is just a special period for the Inmensas? As I just discovered them about a year ago. I kind of think it isnt. Because you didn't hear much talk about the Inmensas and no way would a cigar that good have gone unoticed on the cigar forums and become disco'd IMO.

I am not a fan of the inmensas. The only reason is that they are too sweet & citrusy. They highlight the citrus 'twang' that the Bolivar Marque has as one of its characteristics but IMO, do so too much. It sucks though because this is one of my favorite vitolas generally.

Many love em & your description fits, other than that I find the sweet citrus flavor to exist throughout, rather than just building from the midpoint.

Hope this helps.

In my cigar it may have very well been building throughout the length of the cigar but it didn't kick me in the face until the middle, up until that point I wasn't really focusing on the flavor profile as much as I was focusing on relaxing:glassesgr

That is the typical profile for this stick. Like Kurt, I love Bolis, just not the Immensas, for the same reason, to much citrus.
