Anyone have any more information on the new release of one of my favorite REs from 2006? It's being touted as the same blend...but would Habanos SA actually 'give up' the opportunity to charge 3x more if merely a 2nd band was placed on it? I guess I haven't seen an RE or LE go into regular production before; or if it has I surely can't recall. Has anyone tried these yet?

On a side note, what is it going to take for Habanos to release something in a RG smaller than the diameter of a .50 cent piece?

Not sure what you mean giving up the opportunity to charge more... this is a LCDH release that is more expensive than a regular production cigar. LCDH cigars are not regular production, but they also do not have a set limit like RE and EL's do which is a good thing. And regarding your last question, seems like a few people have confirmed the Ramon Allones 898 Alemania RE will happen next year, can't wait.

When I saw the post come up after mine, I figured I had broken some 'new guys shouldn't talk about cc rule'... lol.

I'll join the discussion in the thread above, but I was surprised they didn't launch it as another regional instead going down the LCDH release route.
