OK, I'll take my chances at my first review here on BOTL.org
This past weekend I had been looking for a nice 30-45 minute smoke and decided on the Bolivar Petit Coronas. It's a 42 ring by 5" little beauty that was spot on in construction, feel and appearance. For whatever reason I have better luck cutting Cubans with a Palio as my Xikar seems to be a bit harsh on them, it's sharp but just seems to tear them up a bit...the cut was clean and sharp. The prelight draw was perfect, not loose, not tight, although I really didn't take the time to notice any flavors in the prelight draw, I just was too ready to smoke.
After a mild toasting, the cigar lit well but burned just a tad uneven for the first inch, this did correct itself and was never an issue from there on.
This cigar difinatly had what I consider the typical Bolivar profile, very rich tobacco flavors that held leather, coffee and spice which was subtle and not overpowering.
I see a box purchase coming soon on these! :starrylov
