Bolivar Royal Corona
Size: 124mm x 50
Origin: Cuba
Construction: Good
Draw: slightly too loose, but not a wind tunnel
This was my first tast of the BRC, but I am a huge Bolivar fan (BBF/BGM). This cigar wasn't too complex nor did it change too much throughout the smoke so I decided to turn this into a quick review rather than a typical "thirds" based review.
The cigar started off very smooth for being so young. The predominant flavors were sweet wood, subtle pepper and a nice pumpkin pie spice finish. This was most of the smoke. The final two inches of the cigar were more full bodied and began to show some great little nuances. Hints of orange peel and creme brule finished this cigar off nicely.
Would I buy a box: yes
Should you try one: yes
This was my fun shot for the day courtesy of the iPhone and some fun camera apps.
