Bombing etiquette?

Since I'm still new to the forums... I have a very newbish question for you all.
[you can skip most of the reading to the underlined sentence if you would like]

is there bombing etiquette? I wanted to send a bomb out to a brother, used the search button - and began reading. It seems most bombs consist of many cigars... I truly wish I was able to do this, but seeing as I'm a college student: my stick count is at a blistering Uno at the moment. I figured since I'm not going to smoke for a couple weeks since it is FREEZING here, I could gift it. Is it poor etiquette to only bomb ONE cigar?

Sorry for the rambling, i just don't want to offend anybody by sending an unsubstantial mail package.

Hey brother I still consider myself a newb as well, but from what I have learned is that bombing is all about the giving. If you have a cigar you want to send someone, by all means do it. A lot of people don't want to bother only sending one cigar because it doesn't make a lot of sense to people that have a bunch of cigars to spend the money on shipping and only send one cigar...

So do what you feel good about. No one can bitch about receiving a bomb... if they do, well they don't understand the true BOTL spirit.

I agree with Aloha, if they don't appreciate one cigar, that person wouldn't be worth sending the one cigar to.

The amount or quality doesn't make a bomb a bomb.......its just the simple fact of sending a complete stranger a cigar(in most cases) to enjoy.....thats is what makes it a bomb in my book.

Though if you only have one cigar then I would want you to keep it, not because I won't appreciate it but because no one here should be digging that deep into their stash to hit anyone (unless it's SGresso because he's a dork.)

I agree with everyone else...No one would be offended by receiving one stick in a bomb. It is after all a gift. There is no right or wrong number, it is totally up to the sender...so send whatever you want or can.

Do you have a humidor? If you do I would hang on to your stick and let it rest until you are ready to smoke it. There are a lot of cigars that benefit from some time resting.

and you can always get creative with a bomb too and send a hand made gift if you have the talent or skill to do so. I am know for sending pipe bombs and other unique bombs other then cigars. The main thing is that you are doing something to make you feel good and hitting the other person without any regard or expecting of paybacks( a very common Noob idea).

The group here on BOTL is the best on the net! look around and you will see the brotherhood!

1. send what you want.

I would be just as excited to receive one cigar or 5. You give what you can and like someone else said, if the person isn't happy with one cigar from you they aren't worth bombing. FIRE AWAY!

Ok just kidding. I know I am excited like a kid on X-mas mornig anytime I see a package withhmy name on it. 1 Cigar 10 cigars. A case of beer, or a mailbox full of spoons. It's just fun. And that is just the receiving part. You should see how excited i am when I am packing up a bomb. Giving is better, so bombs away.
