Reviewer No.1
Location: At my local cigar lounge
Drink: Thomas Kemper Root beer
Appearance: A classic Robusto with a meduim to dark tan wrapper with a few veins on it. No soft or hard spots.
Cut: Punched this cigar and a perfect cigarette sized hole was made.
1/3: Tourched this cigar with my Zippo tourch. It took to the flame well and this cigar draws like a champ. This cigar seems a little sick or something? I'm getting flavors of sour pepper. Cigar produces a dark grey ash and burn is perfect.
2/3: The pepper flavor has mellowed out a bit but I can still taste some sourness along with some burnt wood and leather flavors developing.
3/3: Sourness has pretty much gone away and now I get flavors of burnt wood, leather and cinnamon. This cigar never needed a touch up and burnt well all the way to the end.
Score: I give this cigar a score of 80
Final thoughts: The sour and burnt flavors makes me think this cigar my be going through a sick period. Would like to try another in six months or so to see if this is the case and give it a better rating as it had great construction.

Prelight
When I received my 6 cigars for these reviews, I noticed a crack of about 1/2 of an inch on the foot end of this cigar, and a few other places where the wrapper appeared to be separating.
Upon examining again for the prelight, the crack had grown a bit, and the lifting/separating seemed the same. I also noticed quite a few veins in this cigar.
Cigar lit well, and delivered a flat aroma.
First Third
As I suspected, the crack (and general poor condition of the wrapper) began to cause burn issues…Tunneling occurred, as well as a mottled, flakey ash.
Background of cedar, with notes of almond paste.
Second Third
The burn continued to be a problem. It needed correction constantly, and I tried to draw sparingly to keep the temperature down.
Nuts and almonds continued to permeate the wood background. The texture was chalky.
Last Third
Same flavors, same burn issues, unfortunately.
I am not sure how much the wrapper and subsequent burn affected the taste, but certainly it deterred from the performance and flavor profile.
Closing
This is one of those smokes where you would hope to have bought a fiver, so you would have 4 other chances to get a better experience from the brand, and be able to judge it more fairly. Unfortunately the experience with this cigar was poor.

The weather here on Long Island was just gorgeous this weekend so I this was my first cigar of the year out in the back yard! This cigar was a robusto sized cigar with a medium brown, slightly olive colored wrapper. It had a rumpled look to it with an uneven cap. So I clipped the cap with my SAK and checked out the prelight draw and it was a good draw. My initial reaction to the cigar was that it seemed tannic. Unfortunately, I was getting some water off of my pool cover and took a mistep. I dropped the cigar, you guessed it, into the water on the pool cover. So I can't really give a very good review since I only smoked it for about 15 minutes. Sorry fellas.
I'm still going to give it a guess as to what the cigar was just for the hell of it. Upmann Connaisseur No. 1

Vitola: Robusto
Actual Dimensions: 4-7/8"x49
Appearance: dull & only oily for 1" near the head
This cigar was an enigma. The construction was terrible but the draw perfect. The wrapper was torn & brittle and the cap was only 1/2 glued on. Subtle flavors of hay & vanilla were present during the entire smoking experience but they were accompanied by un-enjoyable sour flavors reminiscent of orange peel. What the hell was the deal? Tobacco & a bit of leather popped in & out but not in enough regularity to be considered anything more than occasional. I hated this cigar. On a scale of 1-100, I'd realistically score it as a 50 because every single aspect of it was partially flawed.
If I had to guess, I'd assume a 2008 Cohiba Robusto because of some classic flavor characteristics. I'd guess the year because of the terrible wrapper quality and apparent muddled taste. Worst of the bunch so far

Smoked Saturday in Seattle with Mt Rainier in the background.
Drink - High Quality H2O
Good looking cigar, nice three seam cap with a little crack on the foot.
Pre light draw, good tobacco taste, light spice.
Lit with the torch and started out very nice. Good draw and abundant smoke.
1st 3rd Smoking nicely with leather spice and a little cinnamon. Lots of smoke and good finish.
2nd 3rd smoking like a champ, holding a long dark grey ash. Leather, coffee bean, and spice rocking my pallet.
Last 3rd, More tasty Habano goodness. This is what it's all about. More of the same and a good long finish. This is a benchmark robusto.
Overall - Great smoke! Has everything I look for in a cigar from Cuba, spice, Coffee, a dash of sweetness and a long finish. Score 95

This is a wonderful looking cigar. An oily wrapper with a small crack at the foot. From first glance, this is a PSD#4. Yeah, I know, how can you tell from just the look. Simple, I have smoked over 100 of these. lol.. I paired this up with a touch of Laphraoig Quarter CAsk.
Pre-light hints of cedar, leather and a nice citrus taste immediately came off this cigar. I lit this cigar and a great amount of lt. blue grey smoke emitted from this cigar. Hints of pepper, leather, cedar, citrus and a minor sweetness were present. The burn was wonderful and the crack disappeared as I smoked this jewel.
The 2nd and third part of this cigar stayed much the same as the beginning. The finished was excellent and I enjoyed this cigar. This is a staple of mine and I really enjoy the time spent smoking these.
I rate this one as a 92/100. The minor crack had no bearing on this cigar
